Erika Weeks

Erika Weeks is the Director of Sustainability at greenSTUDIO|Hastings Architecture Associates, LLC. in Nashville, Tennessee. Erica is a licensed architect in Tennessee and California, with more than 13 years
of experience in architecture.  Since 2011, Erica has managed the successful LEED certification of more than 50 projects, totaling over 4 million square feet of certified space.  Project management goes beyond assigning tasks to individual team members. greenSTUDIO’s approach to sustainability begins with identifying unique opportunities for each project while leveraging our first-hand knowledge of viable solutions. Erica’s expertise is in project team education and coordination, the development of synergies between disciplines, and the specification of sustainable materials.  Erica is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, holds her NCARB certificate, is a member of the AIA, and maintains her LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP ID+C, LEED APND (Neighborhood Development) and LEED AP for Homes credentials. Erica is a trained practitioner of, and one of the first 100 design professionals in the United States to achieve, the “EDAC” credential for Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification. One of the greenSTUDIO’s most notable projects, the Bridge Building, became the highest rated LEED for Core and Shell Platinum project in the world by a percentage of points in 2013.  Hastings Architecture Associates, LLC ranks #8 overall in the 2016 Architect Magazine Top 50 Firms of the Year, #13 in Sustainability.  Erica is also featured in the USGBC+ July-August 2016 Magazine Article titled “Extra Credit,”[pages 28-35] where she explains the importance of putting pilot credits to practice.You can also subscribe to our podcast via the links below:
